Large gazebos and canopies aren't just for private homes. Since 2018 we have worked actively with municipalities and built gazebos for kindergartens, schools, associations and public spaces. This article covers how to choose a large gazebo and what to watch out for if children will use it.
Where are large gazebos useful?
- Kindergartens and schools – outdoor lessons and play even in wet weather.
- Municipal parks and recreation areas – canopies for picnics and events.
- Guesthouses and campsites – a place for celebrations and groups.
- Private homes – for big family celebrations and hosting guests.
Gazebos for kindergartens – what to consider
- Safety – rounded, well-sanded edges and sturdy railings.
- Suitable height – railings that are safe for children without blocking adult supervision.
- Durable materials – quality planed timber and safe paint.
- Enough space – so the whole group can fit under the roof at once.
- Light or colourful – we also make gazebos with colourful railings that children love.
Sizes: from 4 x 6 m to 6 x 12 m
For large gazebos the most popular sizes are 4 x 6 m, 4 x 8 m or even 6 x 12 m. For bigger structures we use a strong frame and a metal or shingle roof. You'll find examples with sizes and prices in our gazebo catalogue, and more photos – gazebo and canopy gallery.
Working with municipalities and institutions
We regularly take part in public tenders. We can prepare a bid to your technical specification, build the structure in our workshop and install it anywhere in Latvia.
How we work: from 3D design to installation
For standard designs, we already have a ready 3D design we can send and show you – you'll see how the finished structure will look before you order.
For non-standard designs, our specialist visits and takes measurements. Then we prepare a 3D design or sketch. Once you approve it, we make all the parts in our workshop, bring them over and install the structure on site.
