A veranda is a place to enjoy your morning coffee, host guests or simply look out over the garden whatever the weather. A wooden veranda is an extension added to an existing house and matched to its look.
Open or glazed veranda?
- Open veranda – roof and railings, no walls. The simplest, most economical option.
- Partly enclosed veranda – with closed walls on the windward side.
- Glazed veranda – with windows, usable most of the year.
Roof options
- Polycarbonate – lets light in, so the rooms don't get dark.
- Metal – strong and long-lasting.
- Shingles – matches the house roof.
What to consider
- The veranda roof's pitch and height should match the house roof and windows.
- Gutters will carry water away from the house foundations.
- Check in advance with your local building authority whether the extension needs approval.

How we work: from 3D design to installation
For standard designs, we already have a ready 3D design we can send and show you – you'll see how the finished structure will look before you order.
For non-standard designs, our specialist visits and takes measurements. Then we prepare a 3D design or sketch. Once you approve it, we make all the parts in our workshop, bring them over and install the structure on site.
